treatment
Chapter three


i sighed, i knew this wouuld happen. I walked over to the bathroom door, and knocked. "grace its me, please let me in. I wanna talk to you." i  could hear her crying, "NO YOULL JUST MAKE ME TAKE THAT MEDICINE!!" she practiaclly yelled at me through the door. "Grace i promise i won't, just let me come in, i want to talk." The door clicked, and i knew she unlocked it, wheather she wanted me to come in or not, i went in. I shut the door, locked it and sat down. She was sitting across from me crying in a ball. "Grace, i know you don't want to talk so let me do the talking. When i came here, i hated it here. I refused to take my medicine, i pretended to and i got worse. I could have been gone by now if i took the medicine, but i didn't so i got sicker and sicker. I was so lonely my family could never vist me, and there was no one in the hospital like me. It was terrible. That's when i started to read, i let my mind go wild while i read books, it was the best feeling in the world. do you want me to leave you alone now? i just wanted you to know that, wheather you take your medicine or not, is up to you. She looked up at me, "don't leave."  I scooched over towards her, "come here." She just cried and cried on my shoulder. all i did, was pat her back. i didn't want to make it any worse. About five minutes later, she stopped.  "im ready to take my medicine." We walked out of the bathroom, and i pressed the button for Jackie. Within ten seconds she was in our room, "Everything okay?". she asked. "Everythings fine, but Grace didn't get her medicine." she smiled, "of course, i'll be right back. She was sitting on her bed and i was setting on mine, "thank you" she said, "after i take my medicine will you come to the library with me to pick out a good book?" i am so glad she was going to try to read, "of course." i smiled, im glad she was out of this phase. Jackie came in with her medicine, and she took it. I sat on my bed and just thought about things, it was a peaceful time. Finally, we were about to get up and leave, when jackie asked "are you guys going to lunch now?". Jackie had these smoothies for the room next door, i knew that Grace on the other hand did not. She looked at the shakes and was disgusted. i started laughing, grace looks horrified, "is this what you eat here?" Jackie laughed too, "no these are for the room next door, she can't chew so we put it through a tube, You two need to get to the cafeteria though, now." I laughed, "come on". We walked in silence. "is the food good here?" she asked, "its pretty decent, i'll show you what not to get. " i helped her pick out the good food and we ended up with salads and biscuits. They were delicious. "thank you, for today i mean." i smiled, "anytime, i understand completely." we talked a little bit about our favorite colors and movies, "i love twilight, i've always wanted to be in love like that." she said embarassed "oh my god i have never told anyone that." she blushed. "don't worry i think its really cute, but i feel the same way." she smiled, we walked over to put our trays on the conveyor belt so they'd go to the kitchen. "do we still have time to go to the library?" , i smiled, "lets go".
