Introduction

I was seven, and he was nine. It was when we first met.

Our parents were great friends back in college, and only reunited when my family and I moved

back from Canada to where I was born- California.

We only moved in the first place because my dad had gotten a great job offer, but then we were

back in California and my parents just so happened to run into his.

Apparently they had a child. A boy, two years older then me.

That was him.

Drew.

When we first met, as I said I was only seven so I was intimidated by him.

He was just a bit taller then me.

I remember what he'd used to called me.

"Rosie!" He would call.

"It's Rose!" I would snap back.

We had a love/ hate relationship. He'd throw dirt at me, but would always apologize

after. He'd say how he'd beat me up since he was bigger, but he never did.

A while later when I turned thirteen years old, we moved back to Canada.

I thought I'd never see him again.

Boy was I wrong.

I'm sorry, but the only lyric I used from the song was 'I was seven, and he was nine', so it doesn't exactly count as stealing any lyrics. A lot stories or songs have that in them.. it's like four words..?
