Goodbye Maria Fay
''Hey, Hey
wait up!'' I heard behind me after the bell rang for
lunch. I turned around and It was Colton.
''Hey'' i said back to him, not knowing what to
say... ''I was just wondering if you would like to sit with
me at lunch, with a couple of my friends'' he said with is
amazing smile at the end.
''Sure, That sounds nice..'' I said, hoping he
doesn't see me blush. '' Cool, follow me,
I'll show you were we sit.''
As we got to his table i saw the girl i sit with in first
hour! She looked up from the book she was reading, It looked
like a science book. As she looked at me she, held out her
hand and said, ''Hey, Nice to meet you, I'm
Maya.''

She seemed really smart.
''Colton! When KCl is put into solution (aka added to
purified water) and a slight current is added what precipitates
form at the cathode and anode?
It can not be straight K because it would explode in water. It is a
very bright blue color, right?'' she said,
I gasped, not knowing anything she just said.
Then Colton said, '' I think it's converting
to potassium
hydroxide (KOH). There should also be hydrochloric acid (HCl) being produced
also.'' He said intellagntly.
''Okay, well now we figured it out!'' Maya
said giving Colton a high five, while laughing.
''Sorry Maria, or Maria Fay, that were just ignoring you
like we are'' Maya and Colton said.
'Oh no, it's fine.'' i said, with a grin at the
end. ''Good, well afetr school, Me and Colton are gettign
some coffe at Dream CoffeHouse, want to come?'' she
asked, ''Uhm, sure, I will have to ask my parents i
might have to un-pack, but if i don't, Sure I'll
come.'' Looking at Colton after i finished my
sentence,
''Great!'' Maya said with a big smile at the
end.
