VINEGAR !!! i dyed my hair red and it went purple too .. soak your hair in it not for too long cause it stinks like ! but for as long as you left the dye in then go wash it out followed by shampoo and conditioner and it fades it back to pretty much your original colour you have a little bit of a tinge left but it looks sorta like high lights <3

last summer i dyed my hair red, but then it faded orange within a week. the only real option is to either A. bleach the colour out and dye it a different colour or even the same colour or B. go to the hairdresser and have them cover the purple up with a darker tone.
