My boyfriend is in the marines...he has been deployed for the last 6 months..its his second tour. stay strong im here to talk to you, believe me everything will be okay <3

they go to basic training first so he'll be safe for the time being. yes doldiers die, but not that many. the war isnt that bad. my dad got deployed two times and he came home safe and sound both times. you bf could also get dipleyed to a military base in a different country like germany or cuba etc. those places are safe and much better place to be then combat.

I know how you feel, girl. My best friend (my sister) is in the Marines. She's about to have a baby, and my brother in law, who is also in the Marines, just got deployed to Afghanistan for a year or more. He will miss his first child's birth. :(

He's not going overseas yet. He's just going to basic training. You'll see him when he's done. I don't know how it works in the army, but my brother (a marine) got a 10-day liberty after his basic training. He'll be just fine. :) I promise. Be proud of him and never forget that his fellow soldiers have his back eternally. He's doing an honorable, selfless thing.
