I waited in Starbucks. I ordered a Caramel Frappuccino and a latte for Ashley, then I waited for her to arrive. Ashley is always late, I'm used to it. I grabbed a magazine from a table near-by and began to read it. Minutes passed and no sign of Ashley, so I decided to ring her. I tapped in her number.
"Hellooo?" Ashley said down the phone
"Ash, where are you?!" I asked.
"I'm parking my car now, chill."
"I am chill, ha ha! Hurry up though, I look like a loner.." I whispered.
"Ok, sorry! Order me a latte?"
"Have. How long you gonna be?" I asked.
"I'm walking towards the shop now, dont worry! See you in a min, byee!" Ashley hung up.
I picked the magazine back up, and started to read more of it. Then, after what seemed like 5 minutes I see Ashley walk into Starbucks.
"Hey!" I said and stood up to give her a quick hug.
"Hiya, how are you?" Ashley smiled.
"I'm good, you? Guess what!" I jumped with exitment.
"What what what?" Ashlet asked, she seemed more exited than I was.
"Well, I was looking out my window, and I saw this extremly CUTE boy, he's moved in across the street and, this is the best part, Im having dinner with him tonight. Well... I'm not having dinner with him, he's coming over mine and his family is having dinner with ours!" I explained. "I could have a shot with him, what'd you think?"
"I think so, you haven't had a boyfriend in years after Max. It would be good for you!" Ashley said, not realising what the sound of his name makes my heart do. You see, Max was my boyfriend since I was 12 until 15. We wasnt just boyfriend and girlfriend, we was best friends. I loved him, but because he was a guitarist, he got sent to Los Angles to pursue his career. For a few months after he moved, we'd phone, text and message each other everyday, but we lost contact. Then, a few months later we got inot an argument and split up. I've been heart broken ever since. I managed to fix a smile on my face. "Yup!" I squealed. My throat went cry and my head started to ache.
"Did you hear about Maddie and Ashton? omg! Soo sad!" Ashley asked, there me and Ashley talked for a while then we decided to go shopping.
"So, I need a new outfit to look amazing infront of the new boy." I told Ashley. Ashley was my best friend and also my stylist if some important event were to pop up.
"I know exactly what to get you!" Ashley squealed and dragged me to diffrent shops.
Hour's went by and we were almost done, I'd found a light, short lilac dress, white heels and pearl necklace.
"My outfit is gorgerous! Omg, omg, omg thank you, Ash! I said, I gave her a hug.
"Anytime, anytime!" Ashley laughed.
"Woah look at the time, I better head back to get ready." I said looking at the time on my blackberry.
"Ok, text me what happened!" Me and Ashley said our goodbyes and headed for our cars. My phone rang, it was my mom. "I'm in trouble!" I thought. I answered the phone.
"Amelia, where are you? Its 5:30 and you need to help me cook and you need to get changed into something tidy."
"Mom, chill. I'm coming up the road now." I said calmly.
"Well.. ok." She hung up.
"Bye!?" I said sarcasticly. I drove into the drive-way and got out of my car, I looked over to across the road and saw the boy in his garden, he was getting something out of his car. He turned around and saw me. I blushed and trried walking away. He smiled at me and waved. I waved back and ran into my house.
