summer
camp
Chapter one
Donya's p.o.v
"Donya! Let's
go time to go to camp!" Mom yelled.
"Okay! Okay! I'm coming! Let me change first!" I
replied back. Today was the day I was going to go to Witty Summer
Camp. This is the first year Witty Summer Camp existed. I was so
excited I was smiling the whole day.
"Donya! Get a move on!" Mom
yelled.
I got dressed in American Eagle shorts, a white ruffled tank
and black hi-tops. I ran down the stairs and said a quick
good-bye to my Dad and brother.
"Donya! Were going to be late!" Mom
called from the car. I nodded. "Bye Dad!" I called just
as I ran to the car. I opened the car door and blasted my
Ipod on. 'Super Bass' played and I hummed to
the music. Twenty minutes later, we arrived where all the
busses were.
"Thanks mom! Love you!" I called as I ran out of the
car.
"Bye sweetie! See you in 8 weeks!" Mom called
back.
"Hello, you are Donya
right?" Steve asked.
"Yes I am."
"Okay you will be on the third bus! Have a nice ride!"
Steve exclaimed. I nodded. Finally. I thought. I'm on my way
to Witty Summer Camp.
I brought my backpack and suitcase to the bus. The lady took it
and threw it in the compartment. "thanks." I said.
She nodded. I sat on the bus in the middle. Girls all around me
chatting and giggling. Wow, people make friends quick. I sat down
next to a quiet girl.
"hi, I'm donya."
"hey Donya, I'm Mary."
We sat on the bus and got to know eachother.
We became pretty good friends! At 4:30 PM the bus was pulling
away from the parking lot. We were on our way to Witty Summer
Camp.
