Help Please!
I'm trying to write a story, but I can't decide how to start it. Could you lovely ladies PLEASE tell me (in the comments) which of these "beinginning sentences" you like most? Thank you all so much!
1) It was dark. Very dark. The kind of darkness that is blacker than night. I was in a sea of shadow, and I was drowning.
2) The first thing I learned about high school, if I learned anything at all, was that your reputation is solely based off the first day of school.
3) Everything felt so right. The stars above, the snow below, the delicate winter wind winding through the trees- this was perfection at it's peak. This is how God must've intended the world to be. So breathtaking, so awe-inspiring... And then I woke up.
4) The sky was that sort of grey again. That grey that just sits overhead, not really going anywhere.
