I could see the cameras all flashing in front of my face. The media only wanted me. The public need to see my face, but the body guards wouldnt let them. Their bulky shoulders blocked the view. Blocked the cameras from getting me, but me getting at the cameras, well that was a different story.
 

Chapter One

I guess i should start by telling you my story. My name is Katherine Blye Im your usual seventeen year old, except I was kidnapped when i was seven. I remember everything the day i was taken. I was walking down to the bus stop, with my blonde hair in braids, my back pack bouncing side to side. My hands so tightly clenched, trying to hold on to my Barbie lunch box as i was late to the bus. Just as i stopped to take a breath, my bus drove by. Tears pricked at my eyes, i was late. And Mommy couldnt take me, she was busy at work, and Daddy was.. just to busy with the new girl he wants me to call Mommy.. A black car pulled up, the dark tinted back window rolled down, and a little white puppy popped out. His whole body shaking and trembling, I felt my whole mood lighten. The front door of the drivers side opened up, and a women came out. She had a sweet smile on her face, her blue eyes sparkled, and her brown curly hair waved in the wind.
"Im sorry, was that your bus little girl?" She asked, her voice sounded sweet like moms brownie, fresh from the oven. I nodded my little head, and pulled my lunch box to my chest. "I can give you a ride, if you want to." She smiled. I didnt know what to do. Go with the sweet lady with the cute puppy, or walk all the way home or school. And stupid little me, picked the puppy.
"Puppy..." I said pointing at the little thing wagging its tail.
"Her names Lucy." She smiled, "So you want to sit with the puppy in the back while i take you home?" She smiled. I nodded. She opened the door and i crawled inside. And the door shut, and that was the last time i ever saw outside till i was found..
