jamie grabbed my shaky hand. i took in a deep breath. all i smelt was body odor and cabbage.
the tent was huge, well actually it turned out to be a hallway or entrance to the  barn... which had become the dance club for the night. Jamie ran off to the dance floor and i made my self to the bar over to the right.
as i took my seat i felt someone come up to where i was sitting.
"can i get you anything?" the figure asked.
i looked up and saw a well built guy that couldn't be more than 20 in front of me.
"erm, you got diet coke?" i asked with a crooked smile.
"you dont look like you need it..." he joke
i sarcastically laughed... it was true, being 17, i was pretty small. my doctor told me i was underweight, but its not like i was going to eat sugar all the time just so i could fatten up.
he came back with a tall glass filled to the rim and still bubbling. he put it on a coaster and leaned back on the counter.
i looked to my left and right to see why he wasnt helping any other characters. i found my answer.... i was the only one.
"so, whats your name?" he asked trying to strike up a conversation.
"Marianna, but my friends call me Mari."
"nice to meet you mari." he leaned came forward to the counter. i took a long sip from my glass. the music was blasting so i could barely hear anything he said, unless he yelled it.
"forrest." he said extending his hand for me to shake.
"like forest gump?" i joked.
he laughed sarcastically, imitating how i reacted to his joke.
i kinda liked this guy :)
