i sat motionless in the hospital bed
listening to kylies note in my year
book. mom was reading it as i drifted off into sleep.
before you gave me only attention, before anyone gave me
any attention, i felt hopeless and just wanted to go home, but
as i fell in love with you, home just seemed farther and
farther away.
i took a deep breath and listened to the monitors continuous
beeping
*beep*beep*beep*beep*beep*

but ive always been hard hearted and
shy. you changed me. you caused me to have a change in
heart.
i took another deep breath and closed my eyes. they grew heavy
and exhaled and fell asleep for what seems like forever. the
last thing i remember hearing

because i wrote something in hers at one point. the last thing
i said waskylie i love you. my mom gasped
after i said that and ran out of the room and i fell asleep.
after what seemed like months i woke up...
"mom?" i whispered
"its a miracle!" i heard someone shout. all i know is that i
felt like i was a completely different person!
