Chapter 26.
Jessica's POV.

"Where are we going?" I asked Justin when we were about 30 minutes in the limo.
"You'll see." Justin said. We talked a little more. Soon enough, we got to a stop and the limo driver opened the door for us. We were standing in front of our favorite park. I looked at Justin, confused.
"What?" He asked.
"Why are we here?"
"Because, I thought it would be romantic." Justin said and smiled. Bill, the limo driver, handed Justin a picnic basket. Justin put that in one hand and took my hand with the other. He kissed my hand and we started walking.
"Thanks, Bill." Justin called over his shoulder. We kept walking and then sat down by our tree, looking out over the huge, blue lake. It was shining in the sun and it looked so pretty. Justin took out fruit, sandwiches, cookies and drinks.
"Bon apetit." Justin said and smiled. Justin got a strawberry on his fork and fed it to me. I took a grape and gave it to him. He leaned in to kiss me, and we were both smiling against each other's lips. We finished eating, and Justin stood up, holding his hand out for me to take. We walked towards the lake and Justin took his shirt off. I guess that was cue to take my shirt and skirt off so that I stood there in my bathing suit. There was a steep hill going into the lake. Justin stood on a log and took the rope that was coming down from the huge tree next to us. He wrapped his arms around the rope and put his feet on the big knot at the bottom.
"Adios!" He said and smiled. He jumped off the log and swing down into the lake. It looked so fun. Like only something you would see in movies. The rope swung back and I grabbed it. He came up from under the water, smiling at me.
"You afraid?" He shouted.
"In your dreams!" I said and grabbed the rope and stood on the log. I took a deep breath and jumped off the log.
"AHH!" I yelled as I swung down on the rope. I plunged into the water next to Justin.
"That was so much fun!" I said when I got a breath. We swam to where it was more shallow and stood there. Justin was staring at me.
"What?" I asked, laughing.
"I don't know."
"Why are you staring at me?" He still didn't stop looking at me.
"You're gorgeous, Jessica. I'm not lying." He said. He kept a straight face. He wasn't joking. I smiled at him.
"You're pretty cute yourself." I said and he smiled. He leaned in to kiss me and it lasted longer than I thought it would. We swam for a little longer and then got out. We didn't put our clothes back on. Justin had something else in mind. He took my hand and led me to the huge tree with the rope on it. He started climbing the tree and sat in the big groove that acted as a seat.
"Come on." Justin said. I followed him and got in the tree. I snuggled into him and he wrapped his arms around me. He kissed my head and we sat there for a while.
"I'm so happy that we're back together." Justin said.
"We were never apart."
"You know what I mean."
"I know. I'm sorry for what happened." I said. The sun started setting and we watched it for a while.
"Don't be sorry. I'm more sorry than you are. I didn't mean what I said. You know that, right?"
"Yeah, I do." I said.
"I'm so excited to have our own babies."
"Me too." I said. We sat there in silence for about 5 more minutes.
"You know we would have gotten together either way, right?" I asked him.
"Yeah." Justin said. We sat in silence for a while.
"Between me and love, you're the common denominator." Justin said. I smiled up at him. I didn't reply. I smiled at the memory of when we watched the sunset and Justin told me that people who like sunsets are dreamers. I thought about it. It was true.
And we sat there, watching the sunset. The last thing that entered my mind before I drifted off to sleep in Justin's arms was that we were two dreamers.
We were two dreamers in love.
And that's all we needed.
