When the sun sets

"There you two are!" Kelsey chirped. I could tell she's had something to drink. I decide not to say anything and sit down next to her.
"Yup" I nodded.  Chris sat next to me. 
"Wanna drink?" Kelsey mumbled. She extended a water bottle towards me, I'm pretty sure the contents was vodka.
"I'll pass, thanks" I looked into the fire.
"You know, one drink won't hurt.." She said in a tempting voice. I sighed.
"I'm good." I finally decided.
"Suit yourself." She looked away.
"I'm ready to go." I stood up and started walking towards the parking lot.
"But you can't leave, the party just started!" Kelsey insisted.
"I'm leaving." I said starting to get mad.
"But you're my ride!" Kelsey said more like she was pleading this time.
"Find a new ride!" I turned and started walking back to my car, my flip flops swishing in the sand. I looked back after a few seconds, Kelsey apperently already got over it. She was pouring vodka into her mouth straight from the water bottle. I rolled my eyes and jogged to my car.
"Hey!" Someone shouted from behind me.
I turned around, confused. I squinted and saw Chris running after me.
"Where are you going?" He wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Home" I responded, avoiding eye contact.
"May I ask why?" He asked in a parent-like tone.
"I don't want to be here" I said flatly.
"Okay" He sighed.
"Bye" he leaned down and kissed me on the forehead.
"Byee." I leaned my head on his chest for a few seconds, then pulled away.
