I know I'm not perfect, 
 I  make  mistakes  just like you.
I  can't  drive  a  car,
and I'm not a  size  two.

I don't ace every test
or  get  straight  A's  in  school,
but  I  don't  drink   or  get high
 to  try  to   look   cool.

I'm  not  always  right
and   I  say things I don't mean.
I  get  misunderstood,
I '  m   o n l y   f i f t e e n .

 Boys don't think I'm pretty 
  because I'm not  very  thin,
but I  hold  my head high,
a n d    f o r c e    a     g r i n.
 
& I can be awkward and shy,
and mess up and tell lies,
and no matter how hard I try,
I fall for the wrong guy.

  I'm just a kid,
 I mess up a lot.
I   do   things   I   shouldn't  ,
and ( sometimes) get caught

I  know  I  make  mistakes
I know I'm not  flawless,
but   I   am   what   I   am:
