Broken

  Introduction:

 RINNGGG!!!

My phone rang on, while I was focused on doing my homework. Quickly, I looked at the caller ID. It was Danny, my boyfriend.

I quickly picked it up, and answered: "Hello? Danny?"

"Hi Samantha." Danny gave a heavy-hearted sigh.

"What's wrong? Are you alright?"

There was a long pause. "Yeah. I just have something to tell you."

"Well, what is it? Go ahead, try me."

"Well..." Another pause. "I don't think this is going to work out."

Right away, I felt as I was going to burst out crying. "W-What? W-W-Why?"

Then suddenly, I heard another voice in the background. It sounded like  girls voice, and suddenly, I recognized who it was. It was my best friend, Ashley.

"Well, I-"

I suddenly said, "There's someone else, isn't there? Ashley. I know she's there with you! I'm not stupid!"

"Sam, I-" Pause. "I'm sorry. I love you, I really do, but I just don't think it's going to work out. I'm really sorry. Can you forgive me?"

"What the-" I was raging with anger, and my face was as red as a tomato. "Oh, so you just want me to forgive you? After what you've done? Yeah right!" Tears were dripping onto the floor, as I said, "Goodbye Danny."

And I hung up, and threw my phone back down on the floor. I buried my face into my pillow, and before I knew it, I fell fast asleep.
