I went
to the mall the other day; the one we went to all the
time.
I recognized every store we
went into, every bench we sat at, things
we talked about and saw.
Everything.
I saw where we were sitting when we
saw the little old couple and you said that would be us one
day.
Where
you first kissed me.
Where you told me some
guy was staring at me so you stared him down.
Where you made a
wish at the fountain in the middle of the mall for us to stay
together.
Where
we met your friend you two
talked about me.
The stores we
went to.
The yankee candle store where
we smelled almost all the
candles.
Where I heard one of my
favorite songs, and I told you the name of it, "Kiss
Me" and you did.
Where you bought one of your
favorite sweatshirts.
Where you
left your milkshake for someone else to get.
And so much
more.
I stood by the benches where we
sat, and I swear I could hear every word you said to me while we
