Precious moments
You were the one I told my secrets to,
The one that never told a soul the things
I said.
You were amazing, playful, scary at times,
I wouldn’t have you any other way.
You were the one that would protect her,
The one that would do anything to be with her.
Yes, you were the one that would
give her kisses when you knew something was wrong.
The stars shined bright when you would see us coming,
You were the one that was so unique,
The one that everyone knew was special in his own way.
One white spot on your nose, that’s all it took
For us to realize you were him; that one we were looking for.
Four white paws and a beautiful shade of black,
It was like you were looking at him in the darkest part of the
night.
The day he brought him home was the day he owned a piece of
Each of our hearts.
The day he left us was the day that piece of heart broke,
Into a million little pieces.
Even though he is gone, We will always remember all those
years,
Of playing in yard, teaching him tricks, day by day,
We fell more in love with him with every bark you would hear.
Door bell rings, the first thing you would see was him,
Shuffled the dog food and you could hear his little feet
coming,
He could sing, jump, shake your hand, roll over, dance. So much
more,
He was so different from others of his kind,
So precious loving but yet also protective.
The thought of him being in heaven with his kids, Weasel and
Spot,
Makes it easier to know that he is okay,
And will have a full life with them.
The wind blew more softly now, the sounds of the outside,
Will never be the same,
Even in our darkest moments have faith that everything will be
okay
Once more.
