my aunty is 65 years old
living by herself, paying her own bills,
making her own food, sleeping alone
she's never been in love.
she's never been married or in a relationship she doesn't have kids she's lonely  she told me that back in the days she promised herself not to fall in love, she didn't want to get married, she never wanted to have children and make a family. she was happy living alone. there was this one cute boy who was 21 who asked her on a date one night. she wanted to say yes but she didn't. she didn't take the chance. so she got tired of living alone for 50 years. she suddenly wanted to fall in love. she saw other couples cuddling up, she saw them taking their children to school. she told me she wished she'd taken the chance when that boy asked her out because until this day, he was still on her mind all the time. being alone for so long affected her brain a little. she started getting sick and tired of every love movie, song, couple, you name it. she was so sick all the time, always in bed, crying every single day with the picture of that one boy she met so many years ago.
i wish i could tell you that the boy found her and they fell in love, but that hasnt happened. she told me to take the chance when i can because you never know what you might be missing...
