Tonight as I was
cheering down by the field.
Every jump. Every kick. Every single smile.
The words i screamed. The cold I fought. I did it all for you. So
maybe you would be proud to call me you "best friend".
But I worked so hard for nothing. Because your so far away. Not
like you will ever know. How hard I worked today. I put on that
smile. That great big smile. To look like I was happy. But
inside my heart was
breaking. Even more than before. Just remembering how far from me
you were. But tonight, when I hear your voice again. I will tell
you how hard I worked. How hard I cheered. Maybe then you will call
me your best friend. Maybe then, you wont feel like you have to
pretend. That is all I want, is for you to care. For you to be
there. For you to say, that is my best friend in the world. Look
how gorgeous she is.
