"What's your name?" Sean asked. "Umm, Jessica," I replied nervously. "That's cute, and you're pretty cute too," Sean said, he winked, and walked back to his friends. Now you would expect me to be really excited about this. Well you'd be wrong. Sean Kennedy is the biggest player known to man. But, I know that if he were to ask me out, I'd say yes, there's just something about his innocent blue eyes, and his neat brown, almost-black, hair. I walk back over to where Taylor-Rose was waiting for me. She had the biggest smile on her face. "Wow, Sean Kennedy!" she almost yelled. I was expecting that reaction from her. I didn't respond. "Why aren't you jumping up and down screaming, that's Sean Kennedy!" "I know I know, but I mean, he said I was cute, not like that's going to turn into anything more, but if it does, I don't want to be played and used, this is going to sound funny but, the perfect man is my grandfather. I'm going to marry a man like my grandfather, he would never disrespect girls the way Sean does. " "Well, I heard that Sean changed, I think it was just a phase." The first bell interrupted our conversation, we waved good-bye to eachother and ran off. Great. I'm in advanced classes, and my first class is 10th grade math. Guess who's in my class? Sean. I take a seat in the back, trying not to be noticed, luckily for me Sean walks in with a whole bunch of people and doesn't notice me slouching in the back row. Unluckily for me, I just told him my name, and attendance is going to be called soon. My name, of course would be the last name called because of my lastname. Zizza. So all of the students would hear my name. Jessica Zizza, Sean would turn around, and if Sean was going to actually pay attention, and turn around, so would the rest of the class, which would cause more embarrassment for me. Here comes the teacher. "Hi, class! My name is Mrs. Baker, and I'll be your new math teacher for the year! First things first, I have to take attendance." "Kyle Abbot, Mary Anderson....." "Bianca DiFillippo, Joshua Davies....." "Justin Keller, Sean Kennedy." She paused at Sean's name. "Sean, I heard last year you skipped class, a lot, well if that happens here you will be getting after-school detention." "Whatever you say, Mrs. Baker," Sean replied sarcastically. Mrs. Baker continued on with her attendance. She finally got to the end of the alphabet. Great. "Jessica Zizza?" She seamed to have questioned. Immediately Sean turned around, just as I suspected. "Mrs. Baker, you won't have to worry about me skipping classes," Sean said as if answering her question. He winked at me, once again, then turned back around. I could see people whispering, I wasn't sure if that was good or bad, they weren't whispering at anyone elses name. Great.
