Another morning
gotta get through another day
time to paint on my smile and pretend

a comment made to make me cry
time to let out a laugh and pretend

Another enemy
someone who wants me in pain
time to cover it up and pretend

It's so easy to pretend im okay
to put on a happy face
and never let the tears show.

It's when im all alone
that the truth comes out
