They say the best things in life come
free,
i think thats true since you happened to me.
but you joke and say its not,
cause you have me and i cost a lot.
and we both laugh,
oh i miss when we were together,
its those simple memories, i remember.
you said you loved me,
you told me every word was true.
i don't understand, i thought i knew you,
but you changed, we said our goodbyes,
and you left, you left me to cry.
and all i that i got is tears
and memories.
when i wake up the first thing that i think,
is how i miss you and how i'm going insane
and all that i still have,
is faded letters and photographs.
and i start to cry,
i miss when we were together,
its those simple memories
i remember.
