Today is the first day of summer. I awoke
this morning to knocking on my door. I had fallen asleep on
the couch... yet again. I slowly got up and answered the
door. I practicly screamed when I saw who was standing there.
The most amazing guy in the world was standing on my porch.
I've wanted him to be mine since the beginning of time.
"Umm, hi Charlie, what are you doing here?" I
managed to say. "Stephanie, there's something I didn't
get to say to you yesterday that I've been meaning to for a
long time. I think I love you. You're amazing. Will you
please go out with me?" My world stopped spinning for 5
whole seconds. I slowly nodded my head, and a smile grew on
both of our faces. What a great start to my summer.
Charlie asked me to go to the beach with him, and of course I
accepted. We walked the 4 miles to get there. When we
got there and he pulled off his shirt to go swimming, I
practicly fainted. Then it was my turn. I stripped down into
my pink bikini and he slid his hand into mine. We slowly
walked into the water and ran from the waves for hours. When
we got home my mom wasn't there to ask where I'd been. She's
on business for 3 weeks somewhere across the country and my
dad moved away years ago. Charlie walked into the house with
me and we sat down on the couch. I told him what a
great time I had and he said the same. Charlie got up to
leave. When he was halfway to the door, he turned around,
walked back to me, and gave me a soft kiss on the lips. We
looked into eachothers eyes and both started to
blush.
