You know you're a dancer when...
you get angry when people tell you dance is not a sport.
you plie and tendu when waiting in lines.
you dance rather than walk down a hallway.
you own more dance shoes than regular shoes.
your body will crack loud enough to stop a class but you don't even notice.
you stretch in front of the TV rather than relax.
when people do splits, you're not shocked.
you dance anywhere and everywhere that you can.
you have your hair in a bun more than you have it out.

im obsessed with this :) dance is love, ya cant live without it. and it really makes me laugh to read the comments other people have written saying their sport is "better than dance". nothing can compare :)))

ALL of this applies, well most of it(: except, my closet isnt filled with old pointe shoes, its filled with all tap and and jazzz shoes and stuff(: and i get SOOOO excited to like see an open room or an open area and i show EVERYONE my dances all the time(:

Everything on here applies to me. This is sooo true! And to pridesoccer6, I'd like to see you go through 45 minutes of stretching alone, doing the same routine over and over and over and over every week, having your teacher yell at you for the smallest mistakes, and trying to change your costume in 30 seconds to get back on stage for your next dance. Dance is a sport, it works you harder then any sport.

haha a good percentage of this applies to colorguard too. i waited until winterguard season was over before i got my hair cut, just in case it ended up being too short for a high pony to look good for our shows xD and i end up doing our warmups to the songs we do them to when they come on the radio. it bothers some people when i do tendues to Bad Romance lmao.
