months,
i spent
that extra hour getting ready in the morning.
picking
out the cutest
outfit, perfecting
my every last hair, carefully painting on my face with
makeup.
all for
him.
then,
one day, i was done with that.
so, i woke up,
threw my hair in a messy bun, put some sweats on and
left.
as i was
walking in to school, he approached
me.
"you look beautiful
today." , he said.
i
didn't believe
him; i couldn't believe this was happening. i was so confused. he must have noticed
it, because he kept talking.
"all the girls around here, they
live to impress
guys. but you, you don't. you're different. you're yourself. and you're
beautiful just the
way you are. gorgeous, really.

hope you don't mind, but... i love you."
