Hmm... Abortion is a touchy subject. But, I think the only time it is reasonably acceptable is when a woman is and only (not a broken condom or something) and doesn't want a baby or can't have a baby at the moment so when she decides to get an abortion, she donates the fetus to stem cell research instead of just... Throwing it away or whatever the devil it is they do with them...
I love the quote, nonetheless. Pretty powerful. I didn't know that. :o

Ok well, what if its a baby?
A baby being born into extreme poverty with NO chance of a good life?
A baby that comes from incest?
A baby of a kidnappers victim?
This list could go on. To say a fetus is a "person" that has rights equal to or superior to a woman's--a thinking, feeling, conscious human being--is arrogant and absurd. It only serves to diminish all women.
I'm sorry if this is 'preachy' to you, but if you think or base your opinion off of people in the media or people on the internet (i.e saying they were pregnant then got many abortions) then you are completely wrong. Most of the women that get abortions are past their teens and have been a victim of . Only 20% are underage and just don't 'want' the fetus.

Lol, from experience, even if you ask people not to object to your opinions, they will do it anyways, happens all the time.
And I figure if the fetus can't survive outside of it's mother with or without technology or medicinal help, then it can't have it's own rights. As long as it is depended on the mothers body it's up to the mother to decide what happens to it. But I agree with Alex (Gamerchick) it is a touchy subject.
