Stupid things my school does #1

lock down drills.

So we're in the middle of class right? books open, pencil and paper out, when an anouncement goes over school that theres a lockdown. so all the kids go in the corner, in case a terrorist were to come into the room and see them. makes perfect sense? but wait! what i dont get...didnt the terrorist hear the announcement? if this trained professional guy with a gun is walking through the hallways and cant find any kids, and he looks through the window and sees open books, hmmm i wonder where the kids are? well they certainly cant be hiding in the corner like i did when i was in school! And especially since all this crap is lying out on the desk, they must not have come to school today!

hahahah. i always wondered the same thing! in my school they use a code. but still i think its is pretty obvious since all the stuff is everywhere.

its so if the person tries to shoot into the room their gun doesnt angle into the corner..not so they dont think anyones there..

They don't do that if there's a real person in the school. Smart schools have a code. Or they email teachers. And schools have been more secured in the past 4 years. If yours isn't, I'd suggest putting in a complain about safety. Forreal.

I was just thinking like yeah there not gonna know that were in the corner hiding becuase we did the same thing when we were in school oh there most deffinetly not gonna think somethings up when you see know one in the room and the doors locked with books open?
