you can't stop her cutting trust me ive been there lots of my friends cut all you can do is make her believe your there for here and tell her if she is going to cut u will be there for her always and make sure she is careful about it reply

i totally agree with what xoallisonn98 said. just show her that you care about her and that there is not a bad enough reason for her to do it. always remind her that you are there for her even if she says she gets sick of you saying it say it more lol i had a friend like this and just knowing i was there helped. i hope everything works out for the best ! reply

awwe.. you have to talk to her about it, remind her that there's so many more things in life to be happy about instead of sad. Remind her that she/he has friends and family that love her SOO much. Remind her that when life gives you 100 reasons to cry, show life the 10000 reasons to smile(: reply

Two of My friends cut themselves, what I didwhen I saw it was I pointed at it then she was like My dog scratched me and I said bullshit Ans She started crying. Then I went into her room Ans took everything sharp. But you can't make her stop, they Get addicted to it. You just Have to keep reminding her its not just hurting her, its hurting you reply

All I can tell you is to not wait to confront her the longer you wait the worse it can get and you dont wan to let your friend to continue to hurt herself as soon as you can let her know you know and that you will be there for her no matter what reply

ask her how she's been lately. tell her she's been looking kind of down lately and ask her if anything is going on in her life that she needs to talk about. don't make her feel uncomfortable or upset. trust me, i know what it's like to have a friend that cuts :\ but together you two will get through this! xox reply

I sent her a message on Facebook earlier today, but she hasn't been online to see it yet. I asked her "What's up ?" and I'm hoping she'll respond tomorrow morning. I really hope she's honest with me. reply

i wouldn't come right out & say it.. i would kind of just ask her how everything is & if she doesn't want to talk about it, just be there for her. if you notice that it gets worse, you need to confront her. reply
