well you go to the help page on witty (this is how i get my backgrounds anyway)
and you click on the link on how to make quotes cool. Then You copy the back ground colour or shadow or whichever thing you want to do. Click add a Quote, then source and the paste what you've copied into the source and then type your quote in afterwards :)

ok go to the 3rd page of my pages of quotes. now there should be a quote of codes. go to add a quote and press "source" at the top left. copy and paste the code from my qoute into the source page and there should be a strip of which ever color u chose in the add a quote space /// i hope that helped you(: best of luck!
