"Thanks for driving me home." I told Will one day after school. My car was in the shop being fixed and my mother forgot to pick me up, so will was nice enough to drive me home. "Anytime." He said while turning off the engine of his nice, new car. "Want to come inside for a while?" I asked him before getting out. He nodded, "Sure." We both got out to the sound of big dogs barking, police sirens and yelling. He locked his car only about ten times. "Don't worry nobody's going to steal your car." He looked around the neighborhood nervouslly, "I know." he said unsurely. I laughed, "Nobody's going to shoot you either. You're with me and people like me here." I joked. "Well, used too." I unlocked the front door of my small, crammed house and offered him a seat at the kitchen table. "Used to?" he asked raising an eyebrow. I grabbed up some sodas from the fridge and joined him at the table. "I don't know. It's just ever since my parents made me go to Allendale Prep people here haven't been looking at me the same way. They think I'm some sort of trader. My friends understand though and so do some others." He opened his can and took a big gulp. "I don't belong at school because I live in the heights and everyone thinks I'm some kind of murderer or something. Now, I don't belong here anymore because everyone thinks cause I go to school in the suburbs I'm too good for everyone here and I'm a trader." He nodded his head again, listening carefully. "You know Santana, life's rough, people are judgemental and stubborn. Sometimes, you can't control what people think of you and you just have to live your life. If you don't care, then odds are they won't care. You just have to be yourself and have everything else fall into place." Will made absolute sense, he really did help me. "You're right." I told him honestly.
Before we could finish our conversation the door abrubtly opened. "Santana?" I heard Sabrina's voice call. I quickly started to panic. Before we could do anything it was too late and she walked in, with her jaw open. All three of us were motionless and silent. "What's he doing here?" she asked. "School project." I blurted out quickly. She shook her head in disbelief. "This is one of Nick's friends, isn't he? Will, right?" she asked digusted. He nodded. Before the conversation could go any further I heard Tyler and Antonio walk in. They were silent as soon as they saw Will too. "What the hell is he doing here?" Tyler shouted. "I was just leaving, Tyler." Will said, getting up and heading for the door. "I don't ever want to see you talking to her again. Got that Will?" Tyler snapped. Will nodded while running for his car.
Antonio and Sabrina just stood there in the corner in disbelief with who I was just hanging out with. "Can I talk to you, alone Santana?" Tyelr asked me. I nodded in fear and we headed for my bedroom. I carefully shut the door behind us and waited for him to lecture me. "You know he's my enemy. Actually, our enemy. Unless of course you've become one of them." Tears started to build up in my eyes, "I'm not one of them, I swear to you." He started to pace my room, "Will. He was the only one nice to me at school. He was the only one who didn't judge me. Just because he's one of Nick's friends doesn't mean anything." I could tell he got mad from my comment, "I can't believe you. You betrayed me. You've betrayed all of us. You mean the world for me and for you to do this just crushed me." Tears continued to build in my eyes. "I'm sorry." I told him in a teary voice. "Sorry's not enough, Santana. I guess everyone in this town is right after all; you're a trader Santana. I'm sorry but I think we need a break." He told me. I couldn't say anymore, he left. He brought Sabrina and Antonio with him. He left me alone. The tears finally started to fall and I just layed there, crying in my bed. Replaying the words Tyler said in my head, "I guess everyone in this town is right after all; you're a trader Santana."
