Thanks for the advice :) I just don't know how to bring it up. I was thinking maybe if they ask who I'm texting I'll just tell them then, but they never ask who I'm texting anymore so I don't think that'll work. It just sucks because I'm not used to talking to them about things like this and it's really awkward for me. I'm kinda scared to see how they'll react. reply

So I met this guy on an ipod app called thumb and we've been talking since January. We've been dating for 5 months. We both like each other a lot, but I don't know how to tell my parents about him because I'm not close to either of them and I'm scared of how they'll react. I'll be 18 in September and he just turned 17 last week. He lives 9 hours away, in Michigan, and I live in Wisconsin. We talk on the phone everyday and skype whenever we get the chance. How do I tell my parents about him?
If it helps, I've never really had a boyfriend before... well I did, but I wouldn't count it, and even then I wasn't the one who told my parents, they found out through my step brother. So, I have no experience with this whatsoever.
I don't necessarily wanna tell them that he's my boyfriend, I just want to tell them I've been talking to a guy and I like him a lot and I wanna go see him at some point. reply

basically this guy and i were texting for like 2 weeks. we would text eachother for a while at least once a day. he would always send me goodnight and goodmorning texts and tell me he loved me. we hung out on the 3rd for a little while at a firework show. but just a few days ago i texted him and he didn't reply, so i thought maybe he was busy so i texted him later that night and he still didn't reply. i went a few days without texting him at all, and decided to try again today, but still no reply. i love him a lot, and he knows it, and i can't just give up when i like him this much. we "dated" back in october, but he broke up with me through a text (which, i get, because we never hung out in person, so how else was he supposed to) saying he never loved me, and i decided to give him another chance, obviously.
i just don't know what to do and i don't get why he's ignoring me out of no where. reply
