Chapter 2 ; Part 11
(two hearts and I'll put up the next part.)
“Open…” he put their song, Tonight by FM Static, on.
She opened her eyes and saw the beautiful blues, greens, and browns of the forest.
The chirps of the birds.
The smell of his cologne on his jacket she wore mixed with the smells of pine and morning dew.
She heard the song, and turned to him with tears in her eyes.
“Justin…” Olivia said.
“Olivia, let me just say this before this weekend ends,” he interrupted, “I love you, always will. I promise.”
“Justin, I love you too.”
She picked him up off of his knees and kissed him.
“I‘ve never understood why people fall in love, but with this, I do know now.” she said.
Suddenly, she felt her phone vibrate and he heard her phone ring.
“Hello?”
“Olivia, it’s Mom, we’re on our way.”
“Alright.” she sighed, she snapped the phone shut and threw her head back.
“Everything alright?”
“My mom‘s coming now.”
“Right now?”
“Yes.”
“Let‘s head back.”
“Thank you so much Justin, for everything, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
He kissed her and they walked back to the hotel and told everyone the bad news.
The girls sadly packed their things, cleaned the room, and checked out.
The boys walked them down to the lobby where Olivia’s mother was just rolling in.
“Does this mean we‘re breaking up?” Maddie asked Roy.
“Only if you want it to.” he responded.
“This was the best weekend of my life, of course I don‘t want it to end.”
All the girls started to tear up as the guys loaded their bags into the trunk of the car.
Olivia and Justin walked over to an isolated counter.
“’til Friday.” she wiped her eyes.
