I'm turning 17 on Friday and I agree that they need to loosen up! If they don't, I have a feeling you'll move out ASAP and just be wild! At least that's what I would do. I'm allowed to to quite a bit, I can drive anywhere with whom I want as long as my parents know where I go and that I'm going to be safe. I have a curfew, but it is very flexible. I can spend the night at my boyfriend's house and hang out with my friends basically whenever as long as I'm home before curfew. I'm allowed these privledges because I get good grades in school and never get into trouble. When I get into trouble, which I don't usually, I just get yelled at. If it was something really bad I might get grounded for a while which just means not hanging out with any friends or my boyfriend until I'm not grounded. Just school, softball and straight home.
