CHAPTER 1: WAITING FOR A WHISPER
The clock on her wall ticked by making a steady rythm which echoed throughout her room. Jordyn looked at the fan circlating around, and around but her mind was somewhere else. Waiting, always waiting.. for him. She couldnt stop thinking about him, about his blonde hair, and those gold eyes, why is she waiting though? why not give up? its already time for her to go, to die. After the impersonation of the queens daughter Jordyn knew her time was limited it was a huge crime in their world.. above earhs cloud abve the Heaven humans dream of, where luke is from. Her life would soon be over, yet he still hadnt seen her. Until now, " well well" Luke walked inside closing the door behind him, staring at Jordynn still lying on her bed and looking at the ceiling. "you have no idea.. how long" she whimpered he frowned seeing a tear run down her cheek, "jordynn.. i wasnt allowed to see you, my father requested me in heaven for a meeting. i realised that saturday was your.. last day" she sat up and wiped the tear from her eye but more just welled up "saturday... i have until saturday, five days until i become someone im not, someone i dont know is capable of" she looked at him in hope, he approached her and kneeled in front of her. " your life right now is a flower, although your dying your going to drop a seed, a clue to who you will bloom into, and that person will be beautfiul i know it" he held out a flower clip and tucked it in her black silk hair. " what will happen to me in the five days?" she whimpered grabbing his hand and holding it in hers. Luke tucked strands of hair behind her ear and sighed "you will get weaker, your body will die down and for a moment you will.. seem dead. normally its a day. After your last day your personality will change and your memory will only remember the past year. That includes me, we would have never met." Biting her lip trying to hold back tears she hugged him burying her head into his warm body, he held her close then met her lips. Two days went by and she felt weaker and weaker, Luke watched her throw up her meals, faint from lack of water. Her body becoming fragile by the minute rejecting aything she needed. Hearing her scream in her sleep from the nightmares of whats to come.on ehr last day he carried her to the beach where they would spend every day together since they last met. . "wait.. " she looked at him and he looked at her, her body was almost giving in. "lucas.. ." she kissed him gently, holding him close, seperating from him, crying her last tear, "argh!" a stabbing pain jolted her in the heart making her stumble, gripping lukes shirt for strength. She fell to the sand, Luke held her in his arms as her last moments drew near, her last breathe her last sight before it was all erased inside her mind screamed as a burning feeling crawled from ehr legs to her heart. " i love you.." her eyes closed and her grip loosened, both her arms dropped to her body, lifeless.. dead. With tears running down his face he cradled her home and laid her down on her bed, before leaving, waiting for her new self to emerge. Time ticked by on her wall clock,slowly the girl inside jordynn dissappeared. And slowly she grew back into her next incarnation, her frail body strengthend back to a beautiful figure, her lips turned luscious red and her skin tone was a light tan. But while this change was happening quickly it was also very wrong. A day ahd passed and she had not yet awoken, then a month, a term then a year.
