hm. well i am fine with your opinion of cheerleading not being a sport, but your reasons are not good. not every sport has to be a game with physical contact with your opponent. by your definition, ping pong would be a sport, but thats not true. and there is a clear score in cheer. i dont know alot about cheer, but i know colorguard, and they dont judge by going oh that was pretty, five points. there are judges that judge specific areas. the GE judge scores us on the general effect of the show. the equipment judge scores us on how well we spin, how together we are, clean transitions, the difficulty of the work, and how the equipment looks. the movement judge scores us on how we move under the eqipment, dancing, free arms, if we are in step, body movement, head motion, the expression on our faces, if every single person is doing the exact same movement with their hands/feet/head/body, and if all of our hands/feet/head/body are all in the same positions at the same time. that is a very clear score. im sure there are similarities in cheer judging. just saying. im okay with your poinion, but not your reasons. i personally think they are both sports.
