You should show him the real you to show him that your different from the other girls.
Make him believe your not one of those other girls and he'll hopefully agree about the dating thing

try to relate to him. tell him you understand that he is afraid of getting hurt, because you've been hurt before too. promise him, that you're not the kind of girl that will break his heart. reply
