How bad of a person does that make you that you haven't been to your best friends grave.
That doesn't make you a bad person at all.. I've been with my best friend everyday while he was here.. I've had dreams where he told me I should move on, but I've also had dreams where I heard him tell me that I should kill myself to be able to give him company up there,, But, I've literally put myself under a rock, I didn't graduate with my class, I graduated early because I didn't want to face not having him there on graduation day. I didn't do any school sports after he passed away, I completely changed. I have depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder, which caused me to have seizures. I thought that going to Micah's grave to tell him how much he meant to me and how much I loved that guy and how nobody on this earth will ever take his place, and to delete his number from my phone and begin the process of fading my tattoo, will help me start healing. I feel like i'm betraying him, but I know that hopefully, this will be able to help me move forward and accomplish all my goals I set for myself for the future, for being able to say goodbye to my best friend.
Don't think that you're a terrible person for not going there.. Maybe it's best that you don't, maybe you should go back there when you feel you're ready too and say goodbye one last time, just to be able to move forward, I think it's helping me.
