The Super Natural
Chapter 2
*Kristal P.O.V*
I didn’t want to beat up Carolyn, I actually felt bad for her.
She has nothing, no one, but Sofia.
They lived down the street from me. Carolyn lived in a beat up old house that has over grown grass, broken windows, and shatters that are falling off the house.
You could hear screaming from a mile away and it seemed like it happened every time.
But anyway, I really didn’t want a fight but I had to at least make it look like I didn’t care at all.
I clenched my fists and made the best angry face I could. She looked at me as I started the wind up for the first punch.
I gulped and looked straight into her eyes. She had fear and anger and regret but mostly fear and anger.
My fist was quickly making its way to her face and she vanished. I punched air.
Where’d she go?
She was standing right in front of me. That’s not physically possible. I looked around thinking I was crazy but everyone else seemed to have the same expression as I did.
How the hell could Carolyn just disappear like that.
In less than a second.
*Carolyn’s P.O.V*
Kristal was ready to punch me.
As she met my eyes all I could do was wish that I could disappear from embarrassment and pain. I didn’t want pain from anyone especially in front of people. When Sofia beats me, at least she does it in a private area of the house so no one can see my vulnerability.
I tried to be all swift like and move to the left and Kristal’s fist hit air.
But the look on every ones face told me that something more. They looked like someone had died in their presence.
‘Have I died?’ I thought.
I went to lift up my arm to pinch myself, but I couldn’t see it. ‘What the hell? Where’s my arm?’ I walked up to Kristal staring straight at her.
“Kristal, what happened?” I asked.
“AAAAAHHHHHH!” Most of the school screamed.
Some of the girls fainted, and I think I saw some of the guys faint as well.
I wanted to see my arm. And I did.
“AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!” More screams and even more faints.
Kristal stared straight at me, I didn’t know what to do.
“You freak!!!” She yelled as he ran away in terror.
I had to get out of there.
I had to leave, NOW.
I started running, but I ran faster than usual.
In fact, I ran so fast I had made it out of school into another town.
What was happening to me?
