like seriously, softball is a lot harder then it looks. i have a friend that used to play baseball and now she plays softball and she says all the time baseball is soo much easier. yeah you may have smaller balls, but they go soooo much farther. and then the bases, we may not have to run as much, but we have to run faster. so yeah. and the whole pitching thing, its about the same speed. look it up online. a 60mph fastball from 43 feet is just the same speed at as 90mph fastball or whatever you guys throw from however far away. so yeah its not as easy as you think.
