Me: Pulls all plugs out of electronic equipment to speed up shut down, sprints out of house half-dressed, and breaks speed limit running to the car

Me: Hey Mom, I need to be on time for this thing, can we go, I have to be there in 15 minutes?
Mom: Cleans entire house, waters plants, redecorates rooms, applies for Israeli citizenship, runs for UK president, starts a gambling ring, purchases zimmer frame, crawls to car, forgets keys, crawls back inside house.

Relationships scare me sometimes
Why?
Because one person has the power
to make or break your day.
They have the ability to make you
smile, laugh, and even cry.
One person can have so much to hold over me.
I’m vulnerable.
And for me, that’s a scary position to be in.

Telling someone you like them.
It’s the hardest thing you can do because
you have that fear of being rejected
or having them tell you that they like someone else.
I find it hard to tell someone that I like them
because I know that if I tell them that I do like them,
they will tell me something that I won’t like.
I just can’t face them telling me that they don’t like me,
that they like someone else,
or that they see me as a friend.
It’s really something heartbreaking.

I'm really not used to being called cute.
For some reason,
I just find it hard to believe
I think it’s because I compare myself to others,
and of course there are those that I can never compete with.
So when someone calls me cute,
I often wonder why.
I still take the compliment, I guess.
I just don’t know what they see in me.
I’m sure my self-esteem has a lot to do with this.

I’m determined to find out,

When someone tells me
that they like me.
My first response is to deny it.
I don’t see why they’d like me in the first place because
I’m not the best person out there.
There are far much better looking,
someone who’ll get them,
and someone who can make them happy,
out in the world, but they chose me.
I don’t get it and I just can’t grasp that very idea
because I’ll feel as if they’re joking around
and I’ll be the one getting hurt.

When people make fun
of your insecurities.
It’s one of the worst things ever.
Regardless if they didn’t know it was one of your insecurities,
it can affect you a lot.
Cause then you realize how much of a “funny” thing it is
and you just feel worst about yourself.
So then your esteem drops down
and your mood just drops down with it.
