So even though Jake and I are best friends, we had never actually met in person. Like we did once but it was a while ago. Guess I should've mentioned that before... But last night he invited me to a pool party, so I went. And when he came to meet me at the entrance, he smiled and it felt like I had the whole zoo running through my stomach. Then he was like, "Get in the pool! You have to come swim!" So I set my stuff down and then he got in the pool and he didn't talk to me for the rest of the night. Like I don't know what to do. The party was for his friend who is moving away so he was with him, so I get why he wasn't by me. You know? Like I don't know if he left me because he wanted to be with his friend or what. I mean, he could of at least introduced me to people and hung out with both his friend and me...

well if you were in his shoes, wouldn't you had done the same? I mean, his friend is moving away. sure it would've been nice if he would've hung out with both of you, but on the bright side, at least he invited you:) that's gotta mean something, right?;)

Okay... Lol Jake and I always play this question game just because I like to write down his answers and remember them but he doesn't know. And the yesterday, I was reading through them and I was like, "God Kara. Jake is just so cute and adorable and I lo-.... I almost said the L word." And then my sister laughed at me haha

oh. im sorry. mine was just the opposite. my family LOVES to make a big deal out of it. they kinda treat it like its Christmas:) I had to wait til 10 to watch some fireworks that lasted five minutes. FIVE MINUTES!:)
