let's make 2011
different
because in 2010,
beauty was eyeliner and hair straighteners
We were pretty if we had Northface, Uggs & hardtails
We would pay 40 dollars for a t-shirt JUST because it came from a over-perfumed,dimly-lit store that plays music loud enough to make you deaf.
We were all afraid to text him because that would be "clingy"
We sat home crying over a guy that didn't care
We hated, we lied, we backstabbed, we decieved, and we fought for ALL the wrong reasons
We lied to our old firends to impress our new ones
We thought twice and said "why"?
But you know what?
Let's change all that. Let's try this
all over again

alot of people at my school call me names and make fun of me
everything people said, i started to listen to and believe them.
my boyfriend said he was about to flip on everyone and
i told him it wasn't his problem and he said,

Go ahead eat the damn chocolate cake, kiss him in the rain, love someone, dance in those muddy puddles, tell someone off, draw a picture with crayons like you're still 6 years old and then give it to someone who is very important to you. Take a nap, go on vacation, do a cartwheel, make your own recipe, dance like your invisible, paint each nail a different color, take a bubble bath, start a conversation with him, laugh at a corny joke. Jump on that table and dance, pick strawberries, take a jog, go for a bike ride, take a walk on the beach, plant a garden, make a shirt and wear it all day, Learn a new language, write a song, capture the moment and take a picture, date someone you wouldn't usually go for,stand up for the kid that’s being picked on, make a scrap book. Go on a picnic, relax in the sun, make your own home video, take risks, stand up for what you believe in – even if that means standing alone. Kiss the un-kissed, hug the un-hugged, love the unloved, and live your life to the fullest. So at the end of the day, you'll have no regrets,
no sorrows,no disappointments.

I've made mistakes in my life.
I've let people take advantage of me,
and I accepted way less than I deserve.
But, I've learned from my bad choices and
even though there are some things I can never
get back and people who will never be sorry,
I'll know better next time and
I won't settle for anything less than I deserve.

and I was so set on keeping it that way. Maybe it was because I knew you could
make me f a l l i n l o v e w i t h y o u. And once I fell, I knew there was a
strong possibility that you'd b r e a k m y h e a r t. So I put distance
between us, and I tried to avoid the inevitable. Of course, that only
