Okay. So, I have a pretty big group of friends, and our desks are all near each other in Math class. I have this one friend named Hayden who sits right next to me, and my friend Nate sits right in front of me, and my friend Troy is a few desks over. So anyways, I wasn't paying attention to exactly what happened, but somehow, all of Hayden's papers on his desk fell on the floor, right next to Nate's desk. So Hayden was like, "Nate, can you pick up my papers?" And to try to be funny, Nate refused to. So, like every 10 seconds after that, Hayden would be like "Can you pick up my papers now?" About 3 minutes later, Troy was like, "Pick up his f.ucking papers already. This is getting annoying." And it went on for like 30 minutes before Hayden finally got his papers back. Throughout the whole thing, I was laughing so hard I almost cried. Haha

Because he was too lazy get up from his desk, haha. But seriously, every time I heard "Can you pick up my papers now?" I instantly started laughing without even thinking about it. He'd say it, I'd laugh for 5 seconds, and then I'd stop laughing, and then 5 seconds later, I'd be laughing again. And by the end, I laughed so much I was almost crying.

Okay, that's great. :) Anyways, unfortunately the stress really hasn't been going away. If you were wondering, it mostly has to do with this girl who I've liked for a really long time now, but her and I currently aren't on speaking terms, and I also know that she's been going through some hard times in her life, but she won't even talk to me and give me a chance to try to help her with what she's going through, even though from what I know about it, I can relate to it and show her that she's not alone. So, that's what I'm mostly stressed about. The whole situation is a really long story that I don't feel like getting into right now, but what I just said is basically the most important details of it.

Well, I felt like I needed to vent about it, and since I feel like I can trust you now, that's why I decided to tell you about it. Sometimes I don't trust people enough to tell them personal things about myself when I don't really know them, but at this point, I know that you're definitely someone I can trust. Anyways, I try so hard to show her that I care, but it's really hard because I barely see her in school at all anymore, and I have no way to talk to her outside of school. She does have a Tumblr and I know what her page's name is, but she doesn't know that I know about it. A few months ago when she was really upset, I left her some anonymous messages on her Tumblr that helped cheer her up a bit, but she never figured out that I was the one sending them. I only made my own Tumblr two days ago, and I'm scared to message her with it because I don't want her to think I'm being a creep. :(

Hmm. Well, sounds like a frustrating situation, but right now I think you should just try not to focus on it, and if they want to tell you, they will eventually. Sometimes people try to stay really secretive about stuff like that. Maybe they just recently realized that they're bi and they don't want to tell a lot of people. I don't know, but the best advice I can give you is to not focus on it right now and just see if it gets brought up again.

Yeah, but it's not like she's doing it to hurt me. She's just been hurt and disappointed by people so many times before, that it's hard for her to trust anyone who wants to get close to her, because she doesn't want to get hurt again. That's basically how I interpret it from some of the things I've seen on her Tumblr.

Same here. It used to be way more fun when I was little and there would be balloons and streamers everywhere with cake and those number candles and my friends would come round to my house and my parents would wake me up by singing happy birthday.
But now I just go to subway with friends or something and that's about it

It's mostly stuff that isn't going to even matter eventually. Like, I've been kinda sick lately. One of my best friends has had a cold for the past week and I think I caught it from him. But it should go away sometime this week. Also, I'm upset that the Yankees aren't making the playoffs, but I'll get over that soon. And I've been working my a.ss off to keep my grades where I want them to be, and that's going good, but it's still stressful to try to do. But it'll pay off for me in the end. Not really anything too major, for the most part.

i'm good, I guess. i'm doing pretty good in school and i've been hanging out with new people and i'm talking to this guy whose actually nice and respectful, which is pretty new to me. haha, and my birthday is coming up so i'm pretty excited for that. all in all, i'm doing really well for once.

That's true. Well, one good thing is at least that when I'm sad, it usually doesn't last long before I'm happy again. But the bad thing is, sometimes the happiness is equally as short as the sadness.

I know how you feel. I realized that I only get one shot to live life, you know? Like I will never be as young as I am in this very moment. That's so scary. So i'm doing everything I can to make the best of my youth. I'm tired of being sad over the things I can't control and letting those things control me.

You're absolutely right. And that's amazing that you're realizing that you shouldn't be sad about things you can't control. Like I've said before, I try my best not to worry about those kinds of things, but at the same time, I end up worrying too much about things I can control. But when you realize that it just causes unnecessary sadness to worry about things you can't control, that's one of the biggest things that helps to overcome insecurity. And to let you know, I've still been praying for you to be happy and to not be so insecure anymore, and from what you're telling me, it sounds like God is answering my prayers for you. So, that's amazing. :)
