To the person arguing love thy neighbor doesn't mean the "abominations". Love thy neighbor meant every other person in the world, regardless of personality, appearance, sins, or even if they are gay, lesbian, or straight. It never was pick and choose who it applied to, an even if you want to say being gay is some awful sin, I seem to remember a good section of the bible being about how Jesus would eat with sinners in their homes and treat them no differently. 0reply

The bible also says "Love thy neighbor as yourself" so really, using the bible as an umbrella to hate someone really doesn't do much for you. 0reply
