Behind the Curtain…
No one knows me,
No one ever knew me,
Or at least the real me,
They only see a mask of what appears,
No one knows me,
It’s like a play, when the curtains close,
No one sees what’s really happening,
It all happens behind the curtain
All the swears, yelling, fighting, kicking.
No one sees me for me;
At least until I’m down:
Down and almost out.
Behind the Curtain,
Or;
I’m my case,
Behind a mask,
But no one takes a chance;
To pull it off and see;
the invisible scars,
That lies beneath,
No one cares at,
What,
Lies,
Beneath.
