I play clarinet, am a sophomore and I live in the usa (michigan). I love to sketch and draw things but when it comes to words my handwriting is so bad that I can barely read it myself haha.. I've never played a sport idk I'm just not very into anything physical. I get bored really easily :P Also, I love the snow<3 :)

okay that was probably more pictures than necessary... I'll feel like an attention whor3 if I post many more, I think. Then again, only posting one wouldn't have given you a very good idea of what I look like either as people can vary a lot in looks from picture to picture, so I think providing you with three pictures seems like a quite reasonable amount.

Why is it, that recently people have been starting arguments over every little quote?
(okay, I know to say EVERY one is a bit of an exaggeration xD)
It seems that over every quote that could be just slightly controversial, people start huge arguments in the comments over it which results drama between users. Often this happens because people want to state their beliefs in things, especially when they disagree with someone, I understand.
Yes, you all have the right to stick up for the things you believe in, but that isn't an excuse to be completely rude to people. Especially seeing as the majority of the time it wasn't their original intention to offend anyone, it's generally an accident.
I think we could all get along a lot better if some of us could learn to be a bit more forgiving, and tried to keep from getting offended quite so easily and quickly.
Before you comment hate on someones quote, ask yourself whether you think they actually meant to offend you. If you still believe you should comment on their quote to display the fact that you disagree with them, then you could try to not be rude about it.
Something like, "I'm sure you didn't mean for it to, but this quote offended me a bit because ____. Just letting you know." This should still be enough to get your point across, without causing trouble.
This applies to quotes too of course. When making a quote, ask yourself whether it might offend anyone, and if so: try to find a way to re-word it so it wont be taken the wrong way, apologise in advanced to those whom it might offend (but you posted it anyways because you believe there are others who will enjoy it), or don't make it at all.
So, taking my own advise, I am deeply sorry I've offended anyone~
I know for a fact that I, myself have made such comments/quotes in the past, I'll admit it. But that's because at the time I didn't realize that they might offend anyone or sound rude. And maybe that makes me a hypocrite, but I realize it and don't intend to do it again.
I know that we all see that Witty isn't how it used to be and a lot of us don't like that. A lot of you say you wish it would change back to how it used to be, but the only way we can fix it is by actually DOING something, and that requires participation from everyone here.
There is a new ignore button for a reason. If you don't like a quote, skip it. If you don't like a member, ignore them.
And I know this has probably been said before, and that hardly anyone will bother reading it but I have hope that perhaps at least one person will read this and it will do some good. Other wise I wouldn't have bothered typing it all out. x)
(Please, don't any of you take this personally, I didn't have any one person or quote in mind while typing this, nor does it apply to everyone here of course. I only said something because I want to help Witty, and think that by making this quote, I might be able to do so.)
Also, I'll take all criticism on what I just said with a fairly open mind, because I'm wary on how many people will actually agree with me and will understand if you don't.
