i guess. but first she was all "change of scenery" and then, she kind of DID break the pinkie promise (JESUS CHRIST ANGRY PINKIE IS TERRIFYING)

&if they'd gone back for pinkie/rarity, they'd have lost aj and possibly never have seen her again, and let's not forget that rainbow and aj are girlfrans... at least in my brain.

on the other hand, they kind of screwed up the whole elements thing. applejack, element of honesty, lied to her friends the whole time. rainbow dash, element of loyalty, abandoned pinkie and rarity in the desert. (although tbf she did have a fairly good reason for that.)
