    I chased him,

    I caught him,
    He caught me,
    But, neither of us knew.
    I screamed "Tag!"
    He yelled back.
    But, neither of us knew.
    I fell down,
    He ran fast,
    One of us knew,
    I called for help,
    He skipped the rocks,
    One of us knew,
    I shed my tears,
    He drank some beer,
    One of us knew,
He wasn't the one for me.

    No Longer Friends
    Yesterday we skipped the rocks,
Hid our faces in the box,
Never thought we'd end up like this,
Currupted friendship with a fresh kiss.
    It felt like bliss;
Coming down like the walls of Jericho
But yet climbing higher and faster than a volcano can explode..
We blew the code, the friendship code
Our innocence and pride drowned in the pile of our clothes.
At this point, only God knows.
Only God, could save us from our helpless lonely hearts.
So don't say that God doesn't exist because only a supernatural being could help me now,
My best friend, I will never be able to look at him again.
My best friend, I won't be able to tell him the truth, for he is no longer my friend.
He is now a lover, and it scares me.
This path we're on has no returns or signs, it's a dead end.
    Dead end....
Will we be together in the end?
    I don't know.
    All I know is,
I will never be able to look at him again.

    The Perfect Woman
A couple thousand years ago there was a woman who was hungry for love. Her life, it was difficult. She looked for a relief in the good; but after not finding it, she looked for relief in the bad. Soon, she became currupted. But, it didn't even matter. She was in pain and she was tired. She was insecure and bullied. She was disrespected and unnapreciated. So one day, this woman was caught in bed with a married man, She was scorned and put to shame. Her punishment was to be stoned with the huge sharp rocks. However, before her punishment was to take place; they asked the teacher what he thought they should do. The teacher replyed with this: "Who ever has never made a mistake; let him throw the first rock". The men dropped their rocks and walked away in shame. Moral of the story: Never judge because you're not perfect.

Never ask me for dating advice.
"I don't know but you should stop because you're making me feel weird." He said
"How so?" I shrugged walking a little closer
"Ella, stop. Just stop." He comanded with his index finger pointed my way.
    "Stop what?" I inocently asked.
    "Stop seducing me." He begged
"I'm not trying to seduce you." I insisted
"Come on Ella, please, cover your legs." Roger said. It was Roger's voice but I heard Michael. Oh Jesus, even Roger wasn't enough to get my mind off of him.
"Did I say something wrong?" Roger asked sensing my sudden tension.
I shook my head and blinked several times.
"I'm going to take a shower." I said
"Ok,...hey Ella can I hang out here till you're done...I really don't feel like sleeping and I honestly don't ind. Why couldn't I trust Michael. As I stepped in the boiling water I remembered one of my dad's messages.
If you can't trust yourself, then you can't trust anyone.
Back then, that sentence didn't have much of a meaning. But, now, it was as meaning
    Michael's POV
I wanted to break everything. How could I have messed this up? Was this even my fault? I don't know...all I know is I hurt her and I've hurt my self. All because of my stupid anger. My keys shook in my hands as I tried to open the door. Unfortunettly, I ddin't have to struggle for long. My mother opened the door and glanced at me with a worried expression.
"Where were you Michael?" She asked.
"I was at work." I lied
"Michael your shift ended around three hours ago." She said. I felt like I was about to blow.
"Ma, I'm home alright? I'm safe and sound. Stop asking me all these questions." I said. Before letting my mom say anything else I kissed her cheek and nearly ran to my room. My mother couldn't let me rest in peace; before I had a chance to take off my clothes she barged into my bedroom and glared at my with her folded arms.
    "What?" I yelled.
"Why don't you tell me what?" She yelled. I rolled my eyes and grinded my teeth
    "Michael." She whispered
"I want to sleep Ma, I got an early shift tommorow." I lied
"It's that girl isn't it?" She guessed.
    "Let's say it is...so what?" I muttered.
"Don't hurt her Michael, she's a nice girl."
"Why does everyone assume I'm the bad guy?!" I yelled
"Because you usually are Mich, should I list off your girlfriends August,Alissa,Britney,Chris,Debby,Erica,Fiona,Gina,Hannah,Isabell...and Maribel. Michael you got Maribel pregnant." She yelled
"Oh please Maribel had been hit by more guys then Kim Kardashian and we both know that kid wasn't mine." I said
"You know what it's impossible to talk to you. I'm going to bed." She left.
"What if I told you, I'm the one who's hurting this time ma?" I uttered
She's different. She's either going to be a blessing or a curse. But, as if it continues like this, I hold onto the curse.

    Chapter # 38
    Confessions at Mcdonalds
I layed back in my seat and glanced out the window. As he drove off I
noticed the trees transforming into stop lights and pedestrians.
Questions, I had a lot of questions in my head right now. One, why and
how many times has he been arrested? Two, what did he have to do
with the cop's daughter? Three, what was the point of running around like this? I mean, couldn't we just stay inside that majestic balcony? Why on earth did we have to come all the way to this park just to eat some fried chicken and powdered donuts. Another thing I didn't understand was why I was putting up with this. Why didn't I just tell him that I thought he was disgusting and rude? Why didn't I want to tell him? I had no problems with confronting people, so why was it so difficult for me to confront Micheal?
"Drive-thru or sit-in?" He casually asked as we drove into the parking lot.
    "Sit-in." I answered.
I wasn't the biggest fan of drive-thrus. I didn't like eating in a car. It was very problematic for me. I had to put my drink in the holder and fries in my other hand while I ate my burger. We got out of the car and walked towards the entrance. It was like 1 am now so I doubted that there would be anyone there. But, I was dumbfounded when I spotted that nearly every table was taken. As if that wasn't bad enough, all of them were guys. Seriously, all of them. There were only 2 ladies, one of them was working and the other one was me. My stomach sank as I realized all of the atention was on me. I clutched unto Micheal's arm and walked to the register with him. It would be fair to think that Micheal would be pretty intiminated being surrounded by all these men. However, Micheal was very confident and approached the cashier with a bright smile.
"Hi, can I get a bic-mac, large fries and large drink." He ordered.
The cashier put in the order and smiled at Micheal completely ignoring me.
"What would you like Ella?" He asked without breaking eye contact with the cashier.
Oh, my, God, how could someone be such a ducheee bag? I looked at the cashier to see if she was prettier than me and I could honestly say she wasn't. She had a huge nose, her lips were paper thin, and her chin was longer than her freaking face. But, yet my dumb a$$ boyfriend was looking at her like she was a goddess. There was no way that Micheal was into her, how could he be into her? I mean eww. I usually see the bright side of people but this situation made that very difficult for me.
"Same, I'm going to the bathroom." I said as I let go of his arm and rushed to the bathroom.
I quickly closed the door and glanced at the body sized mirror stuck on the wall next to the sink. Wow, I never looked so hot in my life. My dress was unevenly ripped at my thighs which made my legs look long and silky. The top of my dress looked classy and fancy along with my smooth skin. Though my eyeliner was smudged a bit, my make up still looked good. Altough, it was my red and black converse and my wildly messy hair made the entire package. Wow, I looked like Kristen Stewart and Nicole Scherzinger had a baby and that baby was me. Now, it was all coming together; Micheal wasn't into the cashier. He was just trying to show me that he was the top dog and it didn't even matter if all those guys were staring at me. Well guess what Micheal? Two can play that game. I thought as I boldy stepped out of the bathroom. Without giving Micheal a glance, I walked to the higgest table in the center of the restaurant. I sat down and crossed my legs while slightly hanging them out towards the guys who had obviously noticed my entrance.I didn't want to do anything too nasty so I rested my jaw on my hand and calmy waited for Micheal. After a twenty second wait, I snuck a look at Micheal with the corner of my eye and it made me furious to see the cashier giggling and twirling her hair. I took a deep breath and thought about what I should do next. As I heard foot steps, I realized that appearently I didn't have to do much.
"Hey there." Oh my goodness this guy was fine. His skin was gold and smooth glowing under his dark curly hair. His eyes were spooky black.
"Hi." I smiled, I had completely forgotten about Micheal now.
    "What's your name?" He asked.
    "Ella and yours?" I asked.
"Trey Dawson, nice to meet you Ella." He shook my hand.
"Nice to meet you too." I smiled.
He bit his lips and flashed a cricked smile. Before sweet Trey got a chance to say anything else Micheal approached the table with our food. He calmy placed the tray on the table and glared at Trey.
"Micheal this is Trey, I just met him." I cheerfully said.
"Micheal, nice to meet you." Trey politely raised his hand to shake Micheal's but Micheal declined the shake.
Trey awkwardly took his hand to the back of his neck.

    Too much to ask for.
Trey awkwardly took his hand to the back of his neck. Aww, he looked so embarrassed. "Um, I'm going back to my table. See you later Ella." Trey smiled. I gave him a big smile. I figured it was the least I could do after my boyfriend’s rude attitude. After Trey left, I put on a disappointed expression and glared at Micheal who seemed too angry to take notice.
“Why were you so rude to Trey?” I asked.
“Gee I don’t know, it’s not like he was hitting on my girl” Michael spat.
“He wasn’t hitting on me.” I defended.
“I’m not sure if you’re acting like you didn’t realize that or if you’re actually dumb enough to think he just wanted to be a friend.” Michael said.
“He just wanted to be a friend.” I tried
“No, you know why because no guy approaches a girl just to be her friend.” He explained.
“Then explain the cashier.” I dared. I looked at his troubled face as he was trying to figure out what to say.
“I was just being polite.” He answered
“After two minutes of thinking, that is all you can come up with?” I asked in dismay.
“Look Ella, I was honestly just being nice. Could we just eat?” He asked. I usually would have got up and left, because right now it was obvious that he was lying. But, he had enough to think about so I didn’t push his buttons.
“I guess.” I answered as I picked up my delicious smelling burger.
After two juicy bites I looked up to see if Michael was still upset and boy, I was shocked. The man ate like an animal. There was ketchup on his cheek and mayonnaise all over the tray.
"What?" He asked as he wiped his face.
    "You are disgusting." I spilled
"Can't help it, I'm a messy eater." He winked.
"Oh my god don't even put that picture in my head." I begged.
He snorted then began eating his fries. I felt an annoying itch on my lower thigh so without giving much thought I bent down and scratched my leg. When I leaned up I caught Michael glaring at Trey.
"What's wrong?" I asked. With out answering Michael took off his leather jacket and passed it to me.
    "What's this for?" I asked
    "Cover your legs." He comanded.
"What?" I asked, not because I didn't hear him. But, because I wanted to make sure he said what he said.
"Cover your legs, now!" He ordered.
"Why?" I asked with shock. I wasn't really shcoked though. One of the guys were probably staring at me while I bent down. But, I wanted to torture him just a little more.
"Listen Ella, we can do this the hard way or the easy way." He explained.
"It's just a short dress, it's not a big deal. Why are you getting so upset." I asked. Right now I had a stupid expression, but on the inside I was laughing like an evil villain in a cartoon. Michael took a deep breath and popped his knuckles.
"Look at my face, look at it. Does it look very happy to you?" He asked
"No, but I really don't get why." I teased.
"You know Ella, you know exactly why." He urged. I took the jacket out of his hands and hung it on my chair. Michael looked like he was about to hit me with the table.
    "Ella." He angirly said.
"Michael please I'm hot." I complained
"Exactly, that's the point." He repeated.
"Michael..." I began complaining till I noticed Trey walk up to our table. Oh God, what did he want?
"This guy wants me to kill him." Michael muttered. Suddenly I was nervous. Trey wasn't huge, but he had his friends with him. What did Michael have? Me. What was I good for? Nothing. Dang, I should've just listened to Michael.
    "Michael." Trey spoke.
"What do you want?" Michael spat. He didn't even move his head to face him.
"Is Ella your girlfriend?" He asked.

What do you want?" Michael spat. He didn't even move his head to face him.
"Is Ella your girlfriend?" He asked.
    "Yes." Michael breathed.
“Well that’s too bad, because I was hoping maybe me and you could hang out some time.” Trey suggested. Oh dear lord! He was into Michael not me. Michael’s eyes widened and he nearly choked.
    “What?” Michael asked in shock.
“I mean I like you dude.” Trey explained. I bit my lips to keep myself from laughing. Michael on the other hand looked like he was about to puke.
    “Leave.” Michael ordered.
    “What?” Trey asked with confusion.
“If you don’t get out of this place right now, I am going to kill you.” Michael growled. Trey looked scared for his life. Though I couldn’t blame him; I mean even a UFC fighter would be intimidated by Michael now.
"Sorry dude." Trey said. Before Michael had anything to say back Trey and his friends were out the door. I offically couldn't hold it in anymore. I burst into laughter.
"Shut up Ella." Michael said. I pointed a finger at him and kept laughing. I just couldn't control my self.
    "Ella.." Michael began laughing.
"Oh my God. I'm so ugly that even guys would go for my boy friend instead of me." I breathed.
"Sweet heart you're hot. Especially tonight. He was just a stupid unicorn." Michael said. See this was it, this was the reason I was confused. A second ago this guy was the biggest jerk ever. But, now he was like a sweet little kid. I subcionciously leaned in towards him. Now our foreheads were touching.
Michael brushed his soft lips against mine. Then, after a slow but short kiss we both leaned back.
    "Micheal." I said.
"What is your question?" He asked
"How did you know I have a question?" I asked.
"Because that is your 'I have a question about your life voice'" He giggled.
"Well, how and why did you get arrested. Who was the cop and why did we come here?" I asked.
"I snuck into a casino when I was eighteen. I didn't have an ID so I flirted my way in. I promised some cougar waitress I'd hook up with her if she let me in. So, later she found out I'm lying and got me arrested." He explained.
"Oh, well how come they took you to jail. They usually just kick you out and scold your parents." I investigated.
"Ella they caught me with whiskey throwing cash at a stripper." He laughed.
"Why am I not suprised?" I asked.
"Because you know me, and about your second question. The cop's daughter was a dork from my highschool who happens to be my cousin's best friend. So one day they were sleeeping over and during the night I came out of the shower and found her in my bedroom." He explained.
"Did you force her to do something?" I questioned.
"No, she's the one that forced me and Ella, a guy can only take so much forcing." He said.
"Well if that's the case then how come her dad is mad at you?" I asked.
"Because that is obviously not the story he got." Michael explained

    Advice for Guys:
    Getting outta the "friendzone"
There are 4 reasons girls friendzone. In order to get out of one, you have to figure out which category you fall in.
    1. She doesn't like you.
If this is the case, then the girl will avoid contact with you. She won't answer most of your messages or calls. She will make up excuses when you ask her out. If this happens, then the best thing you can do is give her some space. Constantly contacting her, or hanging out with her will annoy her and she could even end up hating you. But, if you give her some space while being nice to her. She will consider being with you because after personality wins over everything.
    2. She likes someone else.
This is probably the most difficult one to get out of, if she likes someone else. She won't even consider being with you. However, it's not impossible. Everything just depends on how serious her relationship is between this guy. If things are pretty serious, you should do your self a favor and move on. If not, then you should just be nice and again give her space. Don't annoy her. Girls usually go for what they can't get, so play hard to get with out being mean. Basically, act like her brother.
    3. She's afraid
If you are like Cassanova and have dated several girls, then don't expect to come out of the friendzone so quickly. We girls, pay atention to the way you have treated other girls and if you were a jerk we're not going to date you. We want someone who will be true to us and if you weren't true to your 13 girl friends, then why should we beileve that you'll be true to us? So, in order to make her beileve that you really do like her; you have to treat her like you would have your dad treat your mom. Or how you would treat your sister. Be nice, don't push her. Give her time, let her come to you. This may take quite some time. Weeks, months, maybe years. All this depends on how much you like that girl, and on how much she likes you.
    4. She doesn't know you like her
You see the thing with girls is, we don't ask if you like us. We will try to figure it out according to what you say, and how you say it and if you don't say anything regarding us, we will assume you are indifferent towards us. If this is the case, then we will never tell you that we like you. We will just be your friend until you pull a move. So my advice is; give her a hint instead of coming out and telling her. Send her flowers, say sweet things. Watch movies with her, hug her, hold her hand. The idea is to show her you love her instead of saying it.
