The Fake
Chapter 5
We all laid down on the beach, spreading out our towels.
The boys started playing football, while I sat with my sports magazine and Amanda tanned. Danielle was at one of the stores at the boardwalk, so Ryan wasn't paying attention.
"You really should take off your shorts and shirt, show off what yo mama gave you." Amanda giggled, squinting at me as the sun was shining in her deep, blue eyes.
"No!" I growled, hitting her arm. She rolled her eyes and put her head down on her towel.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a tall figure walk his way over to us. Ryan.
He laid down on his stomach next to me and stared at me. I rolled my eyes and ignored him, trying to pay attention to Sports Illustrated.
"Why are you tanning with a t-shirt on, weirdo." he chuckled, looking at my shirt.
"Shut up." I glared at him, and hit him in the head with my magazine.
"Take it off."
"Or what?" I challenged.
"I'll take it off myself."
I chuckled at his stupid response.
"I dare you, tough guy."
He got up quickly and laughed, clenching his stomach.
The next thing I knew, I was in a pair of strong, muscular arms. He lunged forward, toward the crystal blue water.
"Put me down!" I yelled, wiggling in his arms.
He jumped, diving under the water.
The cold water flew straight into my eyes and my mouth. His arms drifted away, as a big wave came over us. My head popped up, and everything was blurry. My breathing got heavier.
Once again, I felt muscular arms around me. The water got lower and lower on my body and the sun's heat was getting hotter.
"Sam, sammy, sammy! Are you okay?" Ryan gasped, his arms comforting me.
"I'm fine." I said, finally getting my vision clearer.
"I am so so sorry!"
"Ryan, I'm fine. Calm your balls."
"That's impossible." He chuckled letting me go.
I got up and shook my body, getting the water and sand off.
I suddenly felt eyes on me. I looked down and gasped
My shirt and shorts were off, and it was just my black bikini.
I looked at Ryan and he was staring at me, up and down. His eyes widened and his mouth turned into an O.
"Oh m-" Ryan didn't even finish his sentence, he just stared.
I looked over at Amanda and she started giggling and winked at me.
I grabbed a towel and covered myself.
Ryan got up off the sand and stood in front of me.
"Can I help y-" I was cut off with wet, soft lips on mine. I opened my eyes and pulled away.
That was my first kiss.
"What are you doing, Danielle's not here." I raised my eyebrow at Ryan, as his cheeks turned red. I don't know if that was the sun or he was blushing.
I walked around him and laid down on my towel, totally ignoring Amanda.
I put my sun glasses on, and covered myself with a towel. I felt more awkward now, since he has seen my body. I closed my eyes and thought about what just happened.
He kissed me. He actually kissed me.
The weird part was, Danielle wasn't even around. I groaned, at how frustrated I was.
The next thing I knew, something hard bashed right into the back of my head
