Lmao I'm assuming this laxgirl is lying about making an entire website at her school. If anything she's probably using a template. Making an entire website from scratch? With Java and everything else takes a long time, clearly. This site is amazing and quite frankly anybody who's just going to complain can just leave.
THE SAME STUFF HAPPENED WHEN STEVE CHANGED THE LAYOUT LAST TIME. Everybody complained and yelled and told him to change it back and to bring back the rating system, and guess what, now you're all doing the same thing. Just stfu and get used to it. It shouldn't even be that hard of a transition if you guys had listened to him and used the Beta site before it went live.

Thank you for actually appreciating the hard work it takes to make an entire website haha.

Witty is actually better than it has been in a long time. Since I started in Sept of 08 (not on this account) it used to be pretty normal and then it got 10 times worse than this. Back when witty had the rating system, it was ONLY "rate high if!" junk on the top. It was horrific, now there's a LOT more talent a lot more knowledge of how to make quotes exactly how you want them, and the jocking isn't as bad as it has been in the past. I've only seen a couple since I've been active again and usually they don't even mean it. There used to be 20+ jocking accounts around September of last year till about December, then it started to die down and now like I stated it's not half as bad. It's still around which is pathetic but definitely toned down. As for the chainmail I see a lot of that going around. Thankfully none of it ever makes it to the top so it's not a huge pest. But I've seen witty go through a lot, and this is definitely one of the better points that it's been at. Updates and people actually seeing some of the stuff we've been recommending since I joined oh so long ago. But I understand your point completely, witty isn't perfect but I doubt it will ever be completely rid of these things. Just have to keep doing what you like [:
